Managing Partner, Head of Planning & Development, Rural Land and Compulsory Purchase.

Andrew Wright is the Managing Partner at Kirkby & Diamond and heads up the Planning, Development & Compulsory Purchase team. He took over from founding partner Henry Diamond in 2006.

Whilst maintaining strong links with his Rural practice background, Andrew’s specialisation lies in Planning & Development and Compulsory Purchase. He is often called upon to facilitate negotiated settlements in property disputes.

Andrew gives evidence in County Court hearings and in the Lands Tribunal as an expert valuer. He has presented cases at Local Valuation Tribunal and represented clients at Public Inquiry. He also represents clients throughout the UK on property related compensation claims and disputed option and development agreements. His skills are also called upon to prepare proofs of evidence for Arbitration and Mediation hearings.
