Kirkby & Diamond Planners achieve Approved Sub-contractor Status with Royal Haskoning

Kirkby & Diamond’s planners have been approved to provide planning advice to Denis Wilson, the transport planning and highways group of Royal Haskoning.  Royal Haskoning is an independent civil engineering and environmental consultancy with a global workforce of 4,000 staff, operating in 20 countries.

Kirkby & Diamond - the firm of Chartered Surveyors and Planning Consultants will provide on demand advice around strategic and more detailed planning matters.

Principal Planning Consultant, Ross Leal, has extensive experience in physical regeneration, major projects, urban extensions and infrastructure projects, development control, development appraisal and development promotion.  His expertise extends to Environmental Impact Assessments relating to infrastructure projects, including mitigation.  Ross’ current work includes urban extensions and associated infrastructure; planning policy work at Local Development Framework and strategic levels; project management of large development schemes; multi-disciplinary team working to deliver complex projects; planning applications; planning appeals.

Strategic Planning Consultant, Jane Hamilton, has over 30 years experience in urban planning and land development, including key roles in relation to major urban regeneration projects and the development of English New Towns. Wide ranging management experience at a senior level with particular emphasis on establishing, managing and motivating project based multidisciplinary teams. She has a clear understanding of the development industry and current government initiated growth programmes, including establishment of Local Delivery Vehicles and tariff based funding for infrastructure.  Jane is able to work with and co-ordinate both public and private sector organisations, and she has experience of working in a range of political contexts at local and central government levels, including briefing Secretaries of State, Government Ministers and senior civil servants and as such is able to influence and lead within complex operational environments.
