Associate Partner, Head of Quantity Surveying

Peter Turner, joined Kirkby & Diamond in 2000, from a position as Equity Partner in a large national practice. He has over 35 years’ experience in the fields of Quantity Surveying and Cost Consultancy gained over a wide range of projects including education, healthcare, commercial, industrial, civil engineering, housing, leisure and restoration works. 

Has worked overseas for short periods in Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Turkey assisting international contractors and preparing budgets for government agencies. 

Peter’s experience covers major blue chip commercial organisations as well as significant experience in the public sector covering, housing associations, health care, prisons and local education authorities. This particular experience in the educational sector has also led him to undertake significant project work with leading universities and private schools where his wide experience in the field of budget estimating and preparing feasibility studies is greatly appreciated.

Since achieving his FRICS Peter has undertaken post qualification training in Health and Safety matters relating to the Construction Industry and now acts on a regular basis as CDM Co-ordinator (previously known as Planning Supervisor). He also, frequently acts as Employer’s Agent on Design and Build projects.
