Principal Planner

As a Chartered Town Planner with some 26 years’ overall planning related experience, Ross Leal, provides Kirkby & Diamond’s Chartered Surveyors and our clients with an in depth knowledge of the planning process.

Ross has extensive public sector experience, in particular in Physical Regeneration, Major Projects and Development Control. This equips him with a thorough understanding of planning issues affecting both commercial and residential clients.

His experience of New Town Planning is of particular relevance within Milton Keynes and this experience also extends to working with both the private and public sectors, including Major Developers, English Partnerships and Regional Development Authorities. Additionally Ross has significant experience in the Sub-Region, both of the issues affecting it and also of the Local Authorities within it.

Ross has extensive experience, having dealt with major and complex projects, of multi-agency and multi-consultancy team working and public/private sector joint working. This is of considerable benefit in progressing major and complex schemes.

Recently Ross has also been engaged with Peterborough City Council  working on major projects relating to city expansion in the Cambridge Growth Area.
