Kirkby Diamond was instructed by the landlord to settle an overdue rent review of a 6,000 sq ft industrial unit whereby the tenant was represented by their own surveyor.

Having access to a UK wide network of comparable evidence, we were able to locate and validate rental evidence to show an uplift in rent was due. Furthermore, we were able to use existing London based connections to ascertain additional rental evidence that was not in the public domain.

After negotiations with the tenant's surveyor an increase in rent from £70,000 to £85,000 per annum was agreed, increasing our clients income on this particular unit by £15,000 per annum for the next 5 years.
