Care home site acquired by leading developer

A Bedfordshire site with planning consent for a new care home has been acquired by one of the leading developers in the sector.
Acting on behalf of landowner David Wilson Homes, Kirkby Diamond has agreed a £1.2 million deal with LNT Care Developments for the 1.53-acre site at Marston Fields, Marston Moretaine, in Milton Keynes.
Luke Tillison, managing partner at Kirkby Diamond, said the land has outline planning permission, granted by Central Bedfordshire Council, for the development of a care home for 80 residents. It forms part of a wider 365-home residential development.

“The site is prominently located between Bedford and Milton Keynes, within the bounds of the attractive village of Marston Moretaine. It is a wonderful location for a care home for elderly residents, surrounded by countryside and benefitting from a range of established local services and amenities.”
