Chancerygate's Milton Keynes scheme completes with units pre-let

March 12, 2018

Phase two of Chancerygate Business Centre, a multi-million-pound speculative business centre development in Milton Keynes, has been completed, with 55% of the space already under offer, property consultancy Kirkby Diamond has announced.

Chancerygate, working with joint letting agents Kirkby Diamond and Louch Shacklock, handed over units to four tenants, including Integral Powertrain Limited and beauty supplier specialist Izabelle Hammon, on the day of practical completion.

Phase two of Chancerygate Business Centre which totals more than 46,000 sq ft comprises 15 grade A industrial and warehouse units with ancillary trade counters, fully-fitted offices, and comfort cooling. Extra lighting and CCTV have been installed across the estate.

The scheme sits alongside phase one, which comprises 89,000 sq ft of space with occupiers including Screwfix, Mr Clutch, GSF Car Parts and Travis Perkins. The remaining units from 1,900 to 3,200 sq ft are available on a leasehold basis.

Luke Tillison, Kirkby Diamond's head of commercial agency, said: “Chancerygate Business Centre is Milton Keynes’ first speculative industrial development for more than 10 years and there has been strong interest from potential occupiers since we announced the construction of phase 2 in 2017. Our campaign has already seen tenants sign up for six of the 15 units.’’

Victoria Mann, asset manager at Chancerygate, said: “We are delighted to have achieved practical completion to schedule and to have pre-let 55% of the space.

“The development is strategically located for the major national road networks and with more businesses looking to relocate here from London or the Midlands, the M1 corridor sees a high demand for units such as these and we expect enquiries to continue to be strong.”

Chancerygate Business Centre is located off Watling Street in north Bletchley, adjacent to the A5, and is close to the MK ONE shopping centre, as well as out-of-town retailers including IKEA, B&Q and ASDA.
