Four promotions as Kirkby Diamond rewards senior team

Kirkby Diamond has rewarded its senior team for another outstanding year of business by announcing four key promotions.

In its building consultancy division, Paul Hazell becomes executive partner. Head of valuation Adam Smylie is promoted from associate to partner, while senior surveyor Darren Pape becomes an associate. Finally, land, planning and development associate Nathan Andrews is promoted to partner.

Eamon Kennedy, executive partner and head of agency at Kirkby Diamond, said: “We have had another tremendous year here at Kirkby Diamond, cementing our position as the leading commercial property consultants across Milton Keynes, Luton, Bedford and Borehamwood.

“Our success is largely due to the hard work and expertise of our fantastic team members and it is right that we recognise their contribution to the company’s ongoing growth throughout the region. I am therefore delighted to announce well-earned promotions for Paul Hazell, Adam Smylie, Darren Pape and Nathan Andrews.”

Paul Hazell said: “I am delighted to have been invited to join the Executive Board and look forward to making a positive contribution to the continued vision and growth that Kirkby Diamond continues to make.  Building a strong team and work ethic has allowed Kirkby Diamond to be the collaborative firm it is today; it is these which make us a strong force in the market and which I am looking forward to promoting as executive partner.”

Adam Smylie said: “I undertook work experience at Kirkby Diamond which kick-started my interest in a career in property. After undertaking my training at the firm to become chartered and now to be promoted to partner demonstrates the opportunities available to people at a regional practice compared to a national firm. Kirkby Diamond has been going from strength to strength since I started at the firm in 2014 and will continue to do so thanks to the efforts of the management board in growing the firm and expanding into new markets.”

Nathan Andrews said: “This is great news, reinforcing my position within the land, planning and development team and allowing my further involvement to shape the direction and growth of this outstanding company, which I am very proud to be a part of.”

Darren Pape said: ““It is testament to the ethos of Kirkby Diamond that I have flourished personally and professionally since joining the firm.  I am delighted with my promotion to associate in recognition of my hard work and desire to build our client base and am very much looking forward to our success continuing in the months and years ahead.”
