Kirkby Diamond has more than doubled the number of properties it manages on behalf of a major management firm after being instructed on a further 700 properties.

The company will work alongside Nationspaces Developments, national property management firm, which has a portfolio of more than 5,000 properties across over 125 sites, to deliver project management services across varying locations in the south of England.

Areas now serviced by the Kirkby Diamond team include Canterbury, Maidstone, Southampton and Epsom. It delivers building consultancy services including maintenance and refurbishment programmes at multiple sites.

Mark Pepper, executive partner and head of building consultancy services, said: “Kirkby Diamond has worked with this property management company, overseeing works to circa 550 of their properties, for quite some time.

“Due to a strong relationship built with the client over a number of years, our remit has been expanded to a further circa 700 properties bringing the total properties being overseen by our team of building surveyors to around 1,250.

“The new properties expand the reach of Kirkby Diamond, and our professional services, from our traditional regions of Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire, into the south of England.”

He added: “To be asked to oversee even more properties proves that we are continuing to deliver for our clients and meet the high standards required. Expanding our service line area shows that the relationships we are able to build with our clients are going from strength to strength.”

Ross Syme, of Nationspaces Developments, said: “We at Nationspaces Developments Ltd have worked with Kirkby Diamond in excess of 10 years. They have provided a professional service across our developments located north east of London in areas such as Luton, Bletchley, Milton Keynes, Bedford, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Northampton and Rushden. Due to the exceptional service they have provided we have sought to transfer the developments we managed south and south east of London into the professional services they provide. These areas now include Canterbury, Maidstone, the Isle of Sheppey, Epsom, Tonbridge and Southampton.

“We feel that the reason Kirkby Diamond are able to provide such an efficient service is that we have been assigned fixed points of contact and surveyors who know and understand our business and, as such, the developments we manage. Each of these points of contact are easily contactable and can provide informative answers to new and ongoing projects to allow us to work with our customers and provide updates or answers to queries in a timely fashion.”
