New gymnastics centre tumbles into Bedford
July 03, 2024
Bedford children will soon be learning how to vault, somersault, cartwheel and more, following the launch of a new gymnastics facility in the town.
Gymnastics Reborn – a not-for-profit business – has opened a new centre at Sergeant’s Way, Elms Industrial Estate, after Kirkby Diamond conducted a search for suitable premises.
The 2,322 sq ft industrial unit has been transformed into a gymnastics club for children with a significant investment in new equipment and facilities. Gymnastics Reborn has agreed a 10-year lease on the Bedford premises. It already has a well-established family-run, community-based gym set in the heart of Pulloxhill.
Paul Newton, director of Gymnastics Reborn, said: “We provide gymnastics classes for children from all walks of life and, having seen how well the classes have been received over the years, we decided to take it further afield to those not able to travel to us.
“Kirkby Diamond listened to our property requirements, organised viewings, liaised with the landlord and enabled us to collect the keys to this perfectly placed unit in Bedford all within three months. We are now about to open the only purpose-built facility in the area and couldn't be happier.”
Nathan George, associate and head of agency at Kirkby Diamond in Bedford, said: “Gymnastics Reborn came to us for assistance in finding the perfect premises for its expansion into Bedford. We know the regional commercial property market better than anyone else and the unit at Elms Industrial Estate is ideal for their requirements. It has been great to see it transformed so rapidly into an exciting new facility which will provide so much fun and exercise for children of all ages.”
